MS Fernao de Magalhaes

Named after the famous Portuguese navigator Magellan, the MS Fernão de Magalhães sails along the Douro River, offering stunning views of the valley where port wine is produced.

Fully renovated in 2015, this intimate 75 m ship accommodates 138 passengers in 71 cabins across three decks (11–14 m² each). Most upper-deck cabins feature large panoramic windows; others have wide windows for scenic views.

Elegant yet friendly, the ship’s décor reflects the gentle charm of the region. The main-deck restaurant serves refined cuisine with panoramic views, while the middle-deck lounge bar features a dance floor. On the sun deck, guests can enjoy a pool, loungers, and shaded areas for perfect relaxation.
